Many have asked, "who/what is a Fluffy?" Fluffy was my mother, Elane Barend’s, nickname. I grew up in Bristol Valley and my mother had a fabric shop in our home; that is where my love for fabrics began. To be able to touch the fabric and truly look at the beautiful colors and designs is absolutely amazing.
My shop is so colorful and we carry many top brands including: In The Beginning, Moda, Island Batik, Robert Kaufman, Hoffman, Heavens to Betsy wool, Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, Northcott, Benartex, Studio E, Henry Glass, Lewis and Irene, Maywood Studio, Michael Miller, Timeless Treasures, and many more.
We strive to provide the best customer service to you and to make sure you leave with a product that you love and trust. Owning and working at Fluffys has many rewards and honors, such as helping with fabric selections, answering questions, and seeing peoples’ visions turn into completed projects.

Fluffy’s Quilt Patch Plus is named after Elane “Fluffy” Steidle Barend. Elane was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. In the 1970s, she opened her own fabric shop out of her home in Bristol. She started the fabric shop in one room and gradually added rooms as the business grew. According to her late husband, Ray Barend, “She didn’t make a lot of money, but she sure made a lot of friends over the many years. She was an expert seamstress and used her talent to help many, many people during her career.” We hope you find as much joy in sewing as Fluffy did throughout her life.
We strive to give the best customer service and top quality fabrics. We always welcome you with a smile and warm greeting.
